The electrical system uses a sealed absorbed glass mat battery rated at 12 volts, 17.5 amp-hours, and 310 cold cranking amps at 0°F. Charging is handled through a three-phase 48-amp system producing 364 watts at 13 volts and 900 rpm, with maximum output reaching 624 watts at 13 volts and 2,000 rpm.

The starting system uses a 1.6 kW electric starter with solenoid shift starter motor engagement.
